About us

Patience and Erica Fields, lovingly known as the Queens of Rye have been on the grain supply side of the bourbon industry. Erica began supplying rye to the distillers in 1978, inspired by her father, Brooks Fields, who began supplying grain to the distilling industry in 1956. Patience left The Star Tribune newspaper and the performing arts in 2011 to marry her soulmate – Erica – and start a new chapter together.
In 2019, Patience came up with the idea of a rye-exclusive brand when Erica retired from the grain industry. The time is now, and the Queens are excited to create amazing rye-based spirits and bringing along their dramatic flair and continuing the Fields family legacy.

when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage.
